Silverleigh Garden
In 2015 we began an extension at Silverleigh which allowed us to add eleven new rooms as well as totally refurbishing a further fifteen rooms. During the course of the works the garden became a building site.
This gave us a wonderful opportunity to totally redesign the garden space.
In May when we visited The Chelsea Flower Show we discovered an exciting company called Easigrass. We commissioned them to create the garden for us which was completed a few weeks ago.
The space is now an all weather garden with no maintenance other than the occasional trimming of a new evergreen hedge planted on a boundary. We have created a truly stimulating space which can be enjoyed by everyone all year round with life size animals - a horse, a cow, two sheep, two hares and a charming bear - an enormous lit gazebo, a white pavilion and also many lit garden visuals on the fencing. Fresh herbs and lavender have also been planted which are enjoyed by both the residents and the chefs!
